Should We Apply to YC?

We created a new wireless charging technology that can be used both in B2C (electronics) and B2B (including wireless charging of moving vehicles). Developed a working product, which proves our technology. The product is a charging mat for cell phones and laptops (and other products), which is designed to charge them, based on our own standard (allows charging over-the-air). The standard is much more efficient that Qi and PMA.

Not sure if we need to apply to YC because $150K is not enough to develop a prototype for a vehicle charging pad. Please advise.
