Asseta (YC S13) Is Hiring a Customer Success Manager

What do we do

Asseta is an online marketplace for semiconductor manufacturers to buy and sell capital equipment and parts from the secondary market. When manufacturers shut down factories or update them to make new products, they end up with equipment and parts that they no longer need. We’re leveraging technology to create an intelligent, data-driven platform to improve the inefficient and fragmented markets used to buy and sell these assets.

Our initial focus has been in the semiconductor industry, where our customers range from small R&D facilities to Fortune 500 companies like Texas Instruments and Globalfoundries. Asseta has raised capital from major VC firms like Andreeson Horowitz and General Catalyst, and marketplace industry leaders like Gil Penchina.

The Role

The Customer Success Manager drives customer success at Asseta by providing exceptional service and sales experiences to Asseta’s customers. As a CSM, you’ll be tasked with processing inbound sales, identifying cross-selling and outbound sales opportunities, and nurturing existing relationships as well as building new ones. Experts in execution and consistency, CSM's are extremely detail-oriented and are excellent multi-taskers that work pragmatically to get things done.

*Minimum Qualifications (the candidates must:)

Hold a bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience Have 2 years of sales and client-facing experience Be a self-motivated, energetic team player with a positive attitude Have strong time management skills and work ethic to work remotely Preferred Qualifications (the ideal candidate will:)

Demonstrate outstanding multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently with perfect attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and assertive in developing new customer relationships and servicing existing customers Have a proven track record of business to business sales experience Demonstrate sound decision making, and superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce Responsibilities: A CSM must:

Process multiple RFQs simultaneously by gathering, reviewing and synthesizing data from multiple sources with undivided attention to detail and vigilance Enter new and current customer data into our CRM database (Salesforce) Follow established sales process and company procedures Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention by delivering outstanding customer service and sales experiences Create and execute strategic outbound sales efforts Make cold and warm calls to identify opportunities with new and existing customers Strategically assess and solve customer needs and problems via effective questioning and problem-solving skills Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organizational goals and resolve issues Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company’s success

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
