Did this really need to be 32 bit? Seems like the games didn't really make use of much more than SNES level power.
It really was cool how they did more with physical gadgets then. Now video games are much more about standalone digital worlds not connected to the physical.
But also, consumables are really annoying. Would be cool to see a modern version that "Prints" onto keychains and shirt pins with NFC/E-ink displays.
Imagine if Xbox achievements were some kind of physical thing the console popped out, instead of bits in a database somewhere.
