ChatGPT – Computer Says No

ChatGPT has become so lazy that it's now quicker for me to research things myself. If I ask it how to do anything with any software it gives me generic responses like "log into the site and look for options related to security". This is even the case for their site where I want to switch from Google auth to self controlled.

You have to now really push it to research anything. I suspect this is not some kind of learned behaviour but OpenAI themselves tweaking the model to stop people overloading the service with things they can use Google search for. It's exhausting.

What are my options here? Are other LLMs following the same pattern?
