I would like to make sure you’re aware HN has a “favorites” button for both individual comments & stories. To my knowledge, all users favorites are public & can be found in their profile.
I use this feature for - obviously & primarily, things that are my favorite I’ve ran into on this site - but secondly, for things that I think are hilarious or outright insane, which I may want to reminisce about later. Though more frequently as of late, I even include anything that has put me in a slightly better mood. Doing so somewhat congests the actual favorites at this point, but perhaps I’ll have the time to sort that later.
